We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Civil Construction Plant Operator Apprentice. This is your chance to roll up your sleeves and dive into the world of construction while gaining practical experience and skills that will last a lifetime.

Your Role in Our Team

As a Plant Operator Apprentice, you’ll be involved in the construction and maintenance of our community’s infrastructure, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely. You’ll get to operate various plant and equipment, from graders to excavators, while also participating in general labouring activities. This role is all about teamwork, safety, and making a positive impact!

  • Safely operate and maintain a range of plant and equipment.
  • Participate in concrete work, footpath repairs, and stormwater installation.
  • Keep records of timesheets and plant hire sheets.
  • Embrace a culture of continuous improvement and quality work.

 

Who We’re Looking For

If you’re eager to learn and have a positive attitude, we want to hear from you! You don’t need to have extensive experience—just a willingness to grow and develop your skills in civil construction.

  • Must have a School Certificate (minimum) and a current Class C Driver Licence.
  • Hold a White Card (General Construction Induction Card).
  • Strong communication skills to work with team members and the public.
  • Ideally, you have some experience in labouring or the construction industry.
