Position Overview
The Educator at the Early Learning centre plays a vital role in the delivery of a high-quality educational program in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and relevant regulations. Reporting to the Director of Corporate and Community Services, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Director / Nominated Supervisor, Lead Educator / Responsible, and other Educators to enhance children's learning and development through a play-based approach.
The role requires a commitment to building positive relationships with children, families, and staff, while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations pertaining to early childhood education and care.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in early childhood education principles and practises, with the ability to foster a supportive and engaging learning environment.
- Qualifications:
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) or
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
- Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma management certifications.
- Valid Working with Children Check clearance and Child Protection Training.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
Successful candidates will be proactive, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement in early childhood education, ensuring the best outcomes for all children in our care.
