Position Overview
The Lead Educator / Responsible Person plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the service. This position requires active collaboration with the Director / Nominated Supervisor to maintain compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, ensuring a safe and enriching environment for all children.
Your responsibilities will include leading educators, implementing educational programs, and ensuring the well-being and safety of all children in our care. You will also take on the role of Responsible Person in the absence of the Nominated Supervisor.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual who is committed to providing high-quality education and care. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of early childhood education frameworks.
- Qualifications:
- Degree in Early Childhood Education OR
- A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a leadership role within an early childhood setting.
- Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Child Protection training.
- Valid Working with Children Check.
As a Lead Educator, you will be responsible for fostering a positive team culture, mentoring staff, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Your ability to build relationships with children and families will be integral to your success in this position.
