Position Overview
The Director / Nominated Supervisor is responsible for the effective management and leadership of Lockhart Early Learning Centre. Reporting to the Director of Corporate and Community Services, this role involves overseeing the daily operations of the service, ensuring adherence to the National Quality Standard (NQS) and relevant regulations.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with educators to enhance the educational program, maintain a safe and nurturing environment, and build strong relationships with families and the community.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of early childhood education and care standards.
- Qualifications:
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in early childhood services, preferably in a leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Child Care Subsidy system, and relevant legislation.
- Proven ability to manage a budget and administrative functions of an early education service.
In addition, the candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills, a commitment to child safety, and a passion for fostering a positive learning environment.
