Your New Role
As the Traffic Control - Team Leader, you’ll be at the forefront of managing traffic, pedestrians, and cyclists around work sites and public events. Your day-to-day will involve implementing traffic management plans, operating control devices, and ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely.
In this role, you’ll not only direct traffic with your Stop/Slow bat but also lead a small team of traffic controllers, providing guidance and training as needed. Your proactive approach to safety and clear communication will help create a positive work atmosphere.
Who You Are
We’re looking for a friendly and responsible individual who loves working with others. If you have experience in traffic control and road maintenance, a knack for problem-solving, and a passion for safety, we’d love to hear from you!
- Minimum qualifications include a School Certificate, Construction White Card, and Traffic Control Tickets.
- Strong experience in road construction and maintenance, preferably within Local Government.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively lead and coordinate your team.
- Up-to-date knowledge of traffic management legislation and safety practices.
