As a Lead Educator, you will lead the delivery of engaging, play-based learning experiences that align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). You will foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where children feel secure, are supported to learn and develop, and are encouraged to reach their full potential.

In this role, the safety, rights, wellbeing, and best interests of children are paramount and must underpin all aspects of the room's operations, decision-making, interactions, and functions. You will actively promote a child-safe culture, ensuring that every child is respected, protected, heard, and supported to thrive.

What We're Looking For

We are searching for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who share our commitment to providing high-quality education and care and who are passionate about supporting children's learning, wellbeing and development.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care 

  • Or Currently working towards a Bachelor or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.

  • Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications or willingness to obtain.

  • Respect for and valuing children's voices and participation.

  • An understanding of, or willingness to learn about, children's developmental needs and wellbeing.

  • The ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries with children, families and colleagues.

  • An understanding of culturally safe, inclusive and respectful practices.

  • Knowledge of, or willingness to learn about, child protection and mandatory reporting obligations.

  • A commitment to creating safe, supportive and inclusive environments where children feel respected, valued and protected.

Pre-Employment Requirements

The successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete relevant pre-employment checks, which may include:

  • A valid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance or the ability to obtain one prior to commencement.

  • Verification of qualifications and licences.

  • Reference checks, including child-related employment references where applicable.

  • National Criminal History Check (where required).

  • Identification and right-to-work verification.

Applicants may be asked to provide examples of how they have supported children's safety, wellbeing and development in previous employment, volunteer work, study placements or community activities.
